Mister Car Wash Opens New Location in West Valley City, UT

New store to join 17 existing water-wise Utah locations

Mister Car Wash, Inc.  (the “Company” or “Mister”; NYSE: MCW), the nation’s largest car wash brand, announced the opening of its newest location at 2055 W. 3500 S. in West Valley City, UT. The new store features state-of-the-art water-wise technology that reclaims and recycles water to reduce overall freshwater usage.

An official ribbon cutting will take place at 10 a.m. on Thursday, Sep. 15 with West Valley City leadership and the local chamber. The event will kick off the Free Wash Weekend – offering free Platinum Express washes Sep. 16-18 to anyone in the area. As part of the Platinum package, customers will experience all of Mister’s signature products including the waterfall HotShine® Carnauba wax, Repel Shield, and Platinum Seal. New Unlimited Wash Club members who sign up this weekend will enjoy their first month’s subscription for only $9.99.

“We are proud to join the West Valley City community and operate using our innovative water technology in this growing community,” said Megan Everett, Senior Director of Brand Communications for Mister. “Utah is the region where we are piloting a new series of practices that will even further reduce water use on top of our already efficient systems.”

During the 2021 record-setting drought year in Utah, Mister’s research and development team began to investigate protocols to reduce water use without compromising wash quality. The Water Stewardship Initiative was implemented in Utah this year as a test market, with a sample set of 15 stores. Initial findings show a post-test reduction average of 30%, with a total monthly reduction of 2 million gallons of water saved each month across Utah stores.

“It is remarkable to see such commitment to conscientious water stewardship from a national brand like Mister Car Wash,” said Nate Webster, Economic Retention Manager for West Valley City. “We are excited to have Mister join our community as true partners.”

Mister is the largest car wash operator in the United States and a national leader in the car wash category with sustainable practices that include water use optimization, eco-friendly chemical development, reclamation and recycling, and responsible return to city infrastructures. Lessons learned from the Water Stewardship Initiative reduction pilot in Utah will inform future development and action in locations across the country.

The West Valley City location features a state-of-the-art tunnel experience with Mister’s proprietary cleaning systems. Customers can quickly clean their cars’ exteriors and take advantage of the dozens of free vacuum stalls on site. Unlimited Wash Club® members can also access all Mister Car Wash locations across the city using dedicated “member only” lanes.

The new store’s operation hours are 7:30 a.m. to 7 p.m. Monday – Saturday and 8 a.m. to 6 p.m. Sunday. For more information about the West Valley City location, visit
